Job Description

The Instructional Assistant will support classroom instruction, supervise students at arrival, lunch, and recess, and complete clerical work as needed. Instructional Assistants are paid to work 32 hours per week, not including a 30‑minute unpaid break. Hourly rate for this position is $23.36. Start date is Aug 28, 2026.

Work Schedule: 181 days (1 day before students return, 180 student days). Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:45 am – 3:00 pm (30‑minute unpaid break); Wednesday 7:45 am – 12:45 pm. Required PL Training – eight Wednesdays 1:35 pm – 3:00 pm (1.42 hours) during the 2026‑2027 school year.
