Chevron Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking entry-level Process Engineers to support operating facilities and projects, applying chemical engineering knowledge and project management skills.
Horizons program provides formal training, mentoring and multiple assignments; graduates follow a Process Engineering development track to design and optimize separation, purification, transformation and transport of hydrocarbons and related streams.

Entry‑level Process Engineers will be enrolled in Chevron’s Horizons Program, an early‑career development program combining formal training, on‑the‑job competency development, mentoring, and multiple job assignments.
Process Engineers will be enrolled in a Process Engineering development track to develop a core technical foundation to draw upon throughout their career. Engineers in this track will develop competencies to design and optimize systems for separation, purification, transformation, transportation and disposition of hydrocarbons, water and various other process streams by physical and chemical means.
Horizons engineers typically complete the development program in their first five years of employment and may have the opportunity to work in multiple work locations during that time.
After graduating from Horizons, process engineers may continue to work in roles aligned with their initial Horizons track, or they may choose to focus on other areas of interest, including the following specialties:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,000 - $136,300. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their respective degree level and discipline.
