Facilities Engineering Civil Engineering Intern (2026‑2027)

Chevron, a leading integrated energy company headquartered in Houston, Texas, is hiring civil engineering interns across the United States. Interns will work directly on operating facilities, applying engineering knowledge and project‑management skills to support plant operations and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support operating facilities through the application of technical engineering knowledge and project‑management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $28.25 – $28.75. Monthly equivalent: approximately $8,300.

  • Furnished housing.
  • Participation in Employee Savings Investment Plan with immediate vesting.
  • Flexible work schedules (5/40, 9/80, or 4/10) based on work group and manager confirmation.
  • Paid holidays dependent on schedule.
  • Full year of service credit for each internship completion (must be re‑employed within 365 days).
Relocation & Visa

Relocation may be considered. Chevron does not sponsor employment visas or consider applicants on time‑limited visa status for this position.

Positions may involve TP&E technologies subject to U.S. export controls and trade sanctions. Non‑U.S. citizens or permanent residents of countries subject to comprehensive trade sanctions are not considered for TP&E opportunities.
