Job summary

The Learning Experience Owings Mills is hiring an Early Childhood Education Teacher for a 2-year-old classroom in Owings Mills, MD. This role focuses on guiding toddlers as they develop independence, communication skills, and social confidence in a structured, play-based setting.

Ideal candidates have Maryland licensing knowledge, a high school diploma, and 6 months minimum classroom experience (1 year preferred). Competitive benefits are offered along with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must meet Maryland Infant and Toddler and Preschool Teacher licensing requirements.
• Minimum 6 months experience in an early childhood classroom (1 year preferred).
• High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Deliver daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support early language development, movement, creativity, and exploration.
• Guide daily routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time.
• Encourage peer interaction, self-help skills, and emotional development.
• Communicate consistently with families regarding daily activities and progress.
• Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to maintain Maryland licensing and quality standards.
