Job summary

The Learning Experience - Owings Mills is seeking a nurturing and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role you will guide toddlers through daily routines and learning experiences.

You will implement the LEAP Curriculum, create engaging activities, and support language, social-emotional, and physical development while partnering with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Maryland Infant/Toddler qualification and coursework completed.
• Experience in toddler/daycare/preschool preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Must meet Maryland OCC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroom.
• Implement The Learning Experience's LEAP Curriculum.
• Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and exploration.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and developing self-help skills.
• Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance.
• Observe children's development and maintain required documentation.
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Follow Maryland Office of Child Care licensing requirements.
