The Learning Experience - Owings Mills seeks a nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You’ll create a warm, structured classroom where children feel secure while exploring, playing, and learning.

Responsibilities include leading daily routines, implementing the LEAP Curriculum, and supporting language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. This full-time role offers competitive pay, paid training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maryland Infant/Toddler Teacher qualification required.
• Maryland-approved Infant/Toddler coursework and training required.
• Previous toddler/daycare/preschool/childcare experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Must meet all Maryland Office of Child Care requirements.

• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and exploration.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and developing self-help skills.
• Support meals, diapering/toiletling, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance.
• Observe children's development and maintain required documentation.
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Follow Maryland Office of Child Care licensing requirements.

Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Owings Mills, MD
Pay: $17-$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Owings Mills is seeking a nurturing and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Our toddlers are building language, independence, confidence, and social skills every day. We're looking for a teacher who can create a warm, structured classroom where children feel secure while having plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and learn.
