Job summary

Yazoo Mills, Inc. is hiring a Winding Operator for the Plant 2 facility in Hanover, PA on first shift. You will operate spiral winders and cut-off saws to fill customer orders, read specs, measure tolerances, and maintain quality per spec sheet.

The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Competitive starting wage of $27.62/hour plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school education/GED.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read specs and follow production orders.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand spec sheets and production orders to setup machines correctly.
• Measure and check tolerances for quality per spec sheet.
• Operate winding equipment efficiently to minimize waste.
• Adjust packaging and processes to meet customer specs.
• Identify quality deficiencies and perform corrective actions.
• Communicate finished product details on production orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle material handling tasks.
• Support snake lace and bundling operations as needed.
• Assist with packaging, tying bundles, and preparing boxes.
