Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client in the Washington PA area is seeking a 1st shift Welder to join the team. Hours will be 7-330 M-F

Duties:

- Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively, including setup, adjustment, and maintenance.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including fabrication, cutting, and grinding.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED
- 5-10 years of experience with MIG and Stick welding on Steel Components
- Ability to weld on different sized and shaped components
- Ability to read weld symbols, shop drawings/blueprints, and instructions
- Strong attention to detail
