Timken Distribution Center in Duncan, SC is hiring a 1st Shift Utility Support Employee. This role runs 7am–3pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as scheduled. The successful candidate values safety, accuracy, productivity, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities

• Use hand-held scanner to identify, transfer, and arrange totes/cases according to work copies to be packaged.
• Arrange work for packaging lines according to daily priorities set by lead.
• Arrange and gather orders and/or supplies for packaging lines; assist with pallet jack handling.
• Identify missing cases and/or totes.
• Move materials using appropriate equipment to packaging areas for processing.
• Fill out standard forms and checklists; keep area clean and orderly.
• Demonstrate drive and self-reliance in daily tasks.
