Job summary

Timken Distribution Center in Duncan, SC is seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping/Forklift Operator. Hours: Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and plant leadership.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass standard safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment for material handling (sit-down and stand-up forklifts, electric pallet jack).
• Place products for customer orders and into specified locations.
• Use handheld scanner to move orders and verify part numbers, weights, quantities and labels.
• Prepare packaged orders for palletization and shipping; secure freight in containers.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure trailers are secured before loading.
