• Familiarity with computer systems and MS Office and SAP for daily tasks.
• Provide effective training to department associates.
• Collaborate with team and management to resolve work-related issues.
• Occasional overtime and cross-functional duties as needed.

Company Description

NX Automotive Logistics (NXAL) Operations Departments functions within a dynamic warehouse or manufacturing environment, where associates may encounter moderate levels of dust, dirt, and odors generated by packaging materials and propane-powered forklifts. Additionally, ambient noise from production equipment is a common aspect of the workplace. Temperature conditions fluctuate throughout the year. Associates are frequently required to operate computers, scanners, read, write, and engage in direct communication—both in person and through various digital and telecommunication platforms.

Warehouse Team Lead Roles and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a safety-first attitude following all company safety policies/procedures.
• Enforce all NXAL company policies and procedures and ensure that all are followed by associates within your designated area.
• Assign duties to area associates to ensure daily functions/production schedules and business/customer needs/requirements are met.
• Work with PIV equipment including but not limited to forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, etc.
• Review work of associates throughout all process to ensure that it is performed correctly and completed in an efficient/timely/safe manner.
• Have knowledge and understanding of NXAL ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards and ensure that they are followed by associates within your assigned area.
• Have knowledge/understanding of all areas specific computer systems and working with MS Office and SAP systems in order to complete all daily requirements/business needs.
• Provide effective and appropriate training to department associates.
• Collaborate with associates and management to solve work-related problems.
• Fill in for associates on process when needed or when on breaks to ensure production/business needs are still met.
• When necessary, this position may require extra overtime and may require performance of other functions as required to meet company/customer needs/requirements.

Warehouse Team Lead Qualifications:

• Possess knowledge of material service, warehousing and transportation functions.
• Possess traits of reliability and dependability.
• PIV experience required
• Ability to create positive moral and effective teamwork.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
• Ability to manage conflict and intervene when needed in associate conflicts.
• Flexibility in order to perform other job functions and work other hours, if necessary, to complete daily tasks and meet business/customer requests/needs.
