Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. in Allenton, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, ensure safe processes, maintain sanitation, and support customer requirements in a high-volume warehouse.

You will direct warehouse leads and staff, manage inventory accuracy, and drive improvements while upholding our Midwest Values. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred; RF inventory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift or pallet jack.
• Experience supervising teams in a warehouse environment (preferred).

• Experience handling food products (preferred).

Responsibilities

General Position Overview:

The Warehouse Supervisor is directly responsible for all activities of the employees reporting to them. The supervisor will be responsible for either the day or night team that operates the warehouse. Supervisor ensures the following: safe work environment, exceptional sanitation, respectful and dignified treatment with all persons within the workplace, quality and quantity of work performed and maintaining customer relations.

General Responsibilties include:

• Regular punctual attendance is a requirement of this position
• Knowledge of and adherence to all personal safety, food safety and food defense training and policies
• Safe operation of all material handling equipment

• Expected to work additional shift to cover other leads, office staff and other Supervisor’s PTO Perform regular warehouse duties and other duties as assigned by management

Task Specifics:

• Maintain high sanitation standards
• Direct supervision of warehouse leads and employees
• Initiates and administers appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.
• OS & D claim investigation and resolution
• Identify WMS system issues and work with IT for resolution
• Participate in off-hours meetings and trainings

Prerequisites:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience operating forklift or pallet jack
• Previous experience managing teams in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• Previous experience with RF controlled inventory systems
• Previous experience handling food products (preferred)
• Supervisor Experience (preferred)
