Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Lead for Yorkville, IL. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring safety and sanitation, and supporting CSR functions in a fast-paced, family-run 3PL.

Schedule is Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, 5:00am - 5:30pm, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. The company highlights multiple sites and a strong benefits package, including PTO and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma ( or equivalent).
• Experience Operating Forklift or Pallet Jacks.
• Previous Experience with RF Controlled Inventory Systems.

Responsibilities

• Directing the work activities of employees as directed by Supervisor.
• Training of employees
• Provide input on disciplinary issues
• Exceptional sanitation
• Food Safety / Food Defense
• Fair and professional treatment of all associates
• Monitoring breaks and lunches
• Controlling housekeeping activities
• Expected to help cover for the Supervisors vacation and PTO
• Other duties as assigned
• Help with CSR functions
• Working together as with management team
