Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Lead in Yorkville, IL. The role is full-time and involves directing daily warehouse activities, training staff, and ensuring sanitation and food safety.

Schedule is Saturday through Monday, 5:00am–5:30pm, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. The company operates refrigerated logistics and offers benefits and a supportive culture that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating forklift or pallet jacks.
• Experience with RF controlled inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work activities of employees as directed by Supervisor.
• Train employees and address disciplinary issues as needed.
• Maintain exceptional sanitation and food safety standards.
• Oversee breaks, lunches, and housekeeping activities.
• Cover for Supervisors on vacation/ PTO and support CSR functions.
• Collaborate with management and other teams to achieve goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

1st Shift Warehouse Lead

Full-time Regular Manual Labor Yorkville, IL, US

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday and Monday 5:00am - 5:30pm.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting and fulfillment needs. General Accountabilities include:

• Directing the work activities of employees as directed by Supervisor

• Fair and professional treatment of all associates
• Monitoring breaks and lunches
• Controlling housekeeping activities
• Expected to help cover for the Supervisors vacation and PTO

Prerequisites:

• High School Diploma ( or equivalent)
