Job summary

The Hillman Group is hiring a Material Handler II in Shakopee, MN. The role supports operations by safely moving materials and finished goods throughout the facility using powered equipment.

The schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hourly pay rate of $20.00. Responsibilities include operating Cherry Picker and Stand Up Reach Truck, scanning inventory, picking and staging products, and assisting with accuracy of inventory and material flow.

Qualifications

• Material handling experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and cycle counting.
• Commitment to safety protocols and incident-free operations.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment and basic warehouse tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment (Cherry Picker and Stand Up Reach Truck) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize hand scanners to track inventory and complete transactions.
• Pick and transfer products accurately to designated boxes and pick locations.
• Move finished goods to appropriate staging or storage areas.
• Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks as needed.
• Resolve routine operational issues with sound judgment and escalate complex problems.

• Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks as needed
• Use judgment and experience to resolve routine operational issues; elevate more complex problems to management
