Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Willard, Ohio is seeking a Kitting - 1st Shift team member. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm, loading/unloading parts and ensuring inventory accuracy in a safety‑driven environment.

You’ll operate a forklift, scan parts, and follow ISO standards while keeping stock organized and ready for production, with opportunities for growth in a global tool company.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid lift truck operator license or complete lift truck training.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Janus scanning guns and procedures.
• Knowledge of the AS400 system.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift.
• Loading and unloading parts.
• Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep plant stocked with the proper amount of parts.
• Avoid overstocking facility with excess inventory.
• Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies.
• Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures.
• Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader.

What You’ll Do

As Kitting, you’ll be part of our Material Handling team located in Willard, Ohio You’ll get to

• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift
• Loading and unloading parts
