Responsabilités

• Unload incoming freight and verify against packing lists; sort by end destination and store excess stock.
• Operate forklift and order picking equipment.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of picking and delivery of customer orders.
• Manage inventory from receiving to shipping.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of the warehouse per supervision.
• Follow company procedures to manage inventory.
• Represent the company by delivering quality service when delivering products.

Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the person in this position would assist with inventory tracking and maintenance in the warehouse, assist with cabinet deliveries as needed, and assist with receipt, transfer, and storage of incoming freight, as well as picking and preparing orders for shipments. The person in this role will additional travel to our 76th Street and Holland Locations. Specifically, the responsibilities for this position include:

• Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock


• Using fork trucks and order picking equipment


• Ensuring proper quality, accuracy and timeliness of picking and delivery of customer orders


• Effectively managing inventory from receiving stage to shipping stage


• Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of the warehouse as requested by Warehouse Manager


• Managing inventory using company procedures and programs


• Accurately representing company by delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers when delivering products

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma


• Prior warehouse experience is preferred


• Valid drivers license

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously


• Accuracy and detail-orientation


• Inclination to do things right the first time


• Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks


• Ability to properly identify colors for the purpose of pulling orders

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to operate a forklift


• Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs


• Ability to bend, twist, and stoop


• Ability to work on feet for 8-10 hours per day
