Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a warehouse associate to handle receiving, warehousing, and distribution tasks. You will verify information from source documents and assist with packaging and shipment preparation.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing skills, and previous warehouse experience. You will operate common warehouse equipment and support clerical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, and supplies.

• Operate weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging machines.
• Safely use and service equipment in a facilities environment.
• Perform clerical and documentation duties as assigned by management.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.

Responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods to or from various locations. Responsible for and/or assist in logistics and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the business requirements with minimum delay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for and/or assists in the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipmentand supplies.
• Responsible for and/or assists in work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use, safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and or electrical equipment in facilities work environment.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the performance of specialized clerical, and documentation duties.
• Responsible for and/or assists in other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.

• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
