Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, shipping, and warehousing operations. You will help in loading, unloading, and moving goods within the facility and assist with documentation.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read and write, and related warehouse experience. Candidates should be comfortable using hand trucks, ladders, and dolly equipment on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for and/or assists in material handling and warehousing functions in receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing from source documents.
• Operate or assist in weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging processes.
• Use and safely operate mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment in facilities work environment.
• Perform specialized clerical and documentation duties as assigned by management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods to or from various locations. Responsible for and/or assist in logistics and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the business requirements with minimum delay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for and/or assists in the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipmentand supplies.
• Responsible for and/or assists in work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use, safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and or electrical equipment in facilities work environment.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the performance of specialized clerical, and documentation duties.
• Responsible for and/or assists in other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
• Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
