Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift in Dayton, OH. You will support assembly by managing inventory IDs, quantities, and preparing assembly carts.

You'll perform picking, cycle counting, receiving, and use RF scanners and Excel for inventory management. This is a contract-to-hire role with a first shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, onsite, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in picking parts to build orders.
• 3-5 years of experience in organizing, cycle counting, and receiving inventory.
• Proficiency in inventory control, picking, and cycle counts.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate - 1st shift Monday to Friday

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our assembly functions by managing inventory IDs and quantities accurately, and preparing assembly job carts with precision.

Responsibilities

• Kit out assembly job carts to ensure efficient workflow.

• Maintain accurate inventory IDs and quantities.

• Assist in assembly functions to support production goals.

• Perform picking tasks to build orders efficiently.

• Organize, cycle count, and receive inventory with attention to detail.

• Utilize data entry skills and Excel spreadsheets for inventory management.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in picking parts to build orders.

• 3-5 years of experience in organizing, cycle counting, and receiving inventory.

• Proficiency in inventory control, picking, and cycle counts.

• Experience with RF scanners and forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Clean room experience is required.

Work Environment

Our facility builds complex electro-mechanical assemblies for military robotics, microchips for medical applications, and custom machined components. You'll work in a clean room, climate-controlled environment with a team of 14-16 members. The position is for the first shift, running Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with optional overtime available. The dress code includes closed-toe shoes, jeans, and T-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
