Job summary

ABB is seeking a Tooling Planner/Supervisor to support the Tooling team on site in Jonesboro, AR. You will conduct maintenance activities, improve equipment efficiency, and perform daily tasks such as organizing tools, picking stock, and sharpening tooling with standard procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, proficiency in Windows software (Excel/Word), and experience with inventory accuracy and cycle counting. Shifts are 10 hours, Monday to Thursday, with OT as needed.

Responsibilities

This position reports to:

Tooling Planner/Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Tooling team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

The work model for the role is: onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Sorting and arranging tools for storage as per guidelines.
• Executing routine activities according to established procedures.
• Picking components from stock for dispatch.
• Sharpening tooling as needed (Taps and Chasers) using machining equipment (grinders, cutoff, bandsaws and hand tools)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the role

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Windows based software (specifically Excel and Word) required.
• Must have working knowledge of inventory accuracy and cycle counting.
