Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Switch Technician (B) - 1st Shift in Bethel, CT to join our Electro-Mechanical team. The role focuses on loading test stands, setting up testing for small electro-mechanical parts, and following technical work instructions and blueprints.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret blueprints, perform basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and contribute to manufacturability improvements in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent related experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start and then break down test ovens which contain small electro-mechanical parts
• Interpret customer and supplier requirements (via blueprints and work instructions)
• Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability
• Perform visual inspection of parts and maintain quality records
