Leadpoint Business Services is seeking a qualified Scale House/Forklift Operator to support daily scale house operations while also assisting with forklift operations and facility safety requirements at our recycling facility in Phoenix, AZ. The role blends administrative duties with hands-on operational tasks.

The ideal candidate is organized, computer‑savvy, safety-minded, and able to operate a forklift as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to operate a forklift in a recycling/industrial environment.
• Comfort with computers and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to become LOTO certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor tracker spreadsheet daily.
• Maintain runtime production log daily.
• Monitor and maintain inventory for bale wire.
• Perform monthly inspections (facility, Trimax, eyewash, fire extinguishers).
• Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Maintain records and documentation; assist with purchasing and receiving.
• Communicate with drivers, facility staff, and management.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers and spreadsheets, safety‑minded, and able to operate a forklift as needed.

As a Scale House / Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative and operational needs of the facility, including:

• Complete and maintain the floor tracker spreadsheet daily.
• Complete the runtime production log daily.
• Monitor and maintain inventory for bale wire.
• Complete KPAs as needed.
• Maintain the fuel usage spreadsheet weekly.
• Complete weekly eyewash station inspections.
• Conduct monthly physical facility inspections.
• Complete monthly Trimax inspections.
• Complete monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
• Complete required facility and safety audits.
• Operate a forklift safely as needed to support facility operations.
• Become LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) certified and follow all required LOTO procedures.
• Perform all administrative duties associated with Scale House operations.
• Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Maintain and file required documentation and records.
• Assist with purchasing and receiving.
• Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets.
• Communicate with drivers, facility employees, management, and other departments as needed.
• Perform additional administrative, warehouse, and operational duties as assigned.

We’re immediately hiring full-time, safety-oriented Scale House / Forklift Operators who:

• Are at least 18 years of age or older.
• Have at least 6 months of forklift operating experience.
• Are comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and basic office programs.
• Are organized and able to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Can safely operate a forklift in an active recycling/industrial environment.
• Are willing to become LOTO certified.
• Can effectively communicate with drivers, employees, and management.
• Are willing to consent to a background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company, as we are a second chance employer.
• Are willing to consent to a drug screen. This is a drug‑free workplace.
• Are authorized to work in the United States.
• Have forklift certification or are willing to complete required certification.
