Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Forklift Operator in Phoenix, AZ to load and unload pallets, move materials, and keep production moving. Shift is 1st: Mon-Fri 5:00am-3:30pm, at 425 S 67th Ave. Pay is $20.00 per hour with benefits for full-time staff. Safety and efficiency are priorities in a fast-paced plant setting.

Prev. warehouse or construction experience is preferred; strong communication and willingness to work overtime are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Experience in warehouse, lumber, carpentry, or construction preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you'll get to load and unload trailer with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently! We're looking for a motivated individual who will keep things moving at a safe and efficient pace!

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 3:30 pm

425 S 67th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85043

What You'll Do

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant

• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area

• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height

• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind

What You'll Need

• 1-3 years of forklift experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
