Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees daily operations of the grill and food prep. Responsibilities include proper food handling, preparation, and storage. Providing excellent customer service and being a strong team player to our franchise partner are essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time, dressed in a clean, complete uniform
• Greet customers warmly with a smile and verbal welcome: “Good Morning” or “Welcome to Huddle House.”
• Prepare food promptly upon order placement
• Complete the checklist, stock, and prepare the unit for the next shift
• Report safety concerns and customer complaints immediately to the manager
• Know the menu and daily features, ensuring correct cooking and presentation
• Follow the Huddle House steps of service to maximize sales
• Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and other restaurant policies
• Perform prep and cleaning duties as assigned
• Control food costs by managing waste and portions

Qualifications

• Effective communication with restaurant staff
• Previous restaurant experience preferred

Compensation: $9.00 - $14.00 per hour
