Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing, located on the west side of Cincinnati Ohio, is in need of a first shift Quality Technician. First shift is 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM Mon-Thur., with overtime available on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities include completing inspections and recording results, processing non-conforming material reports, operating CMM equipment with PC-DMIS, and supporting production with quality questions and initiatives. Calibration participation and 5S maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate and convey information to others.
• Must be able to use and select tools, gauges, and work aids to perform task.
• Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events during the work shift.
• Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specifications.
• Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner.
• Excellent Math skills up to and including Statistics.
• Ability to prepare basic communication and reports.
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to use calibration tooling.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus.
• CMM programming knowledge is a plus.
• Oasis programming knowledge is a plus.
• Discus familiarity is a plus.
