Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Technician. Shift is 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Thursday with possible overtime and Friday shifts.

Responsibilities include inspections, non-conforming material reports, CMM operation with PC-DMIS, calibration participation, 5S and daily communication of status. Requires strong math, blueprint reading, and GD&T skills.

• Must make timely decisions using logical principles.
• Excellent Math skills up to Statistics.

• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to use calibration tooling.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus.
• CMM programming knowledge is a plus.
• Oasis programming knowledge is a plus.
• Discus knowledge is a plus.

Nolte Precise Manufacturing, located on the west side of Cincinnati Ohio, is in need of a 1st Shift Quality Technician. First shift is 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on an as needed basis (may include Friday shifts).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete designated inspections and record result in a timely manner
• Prepare and process non-conforming material reports
• Operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS
• Support production personnel quality questions and initiatives
• Participate in the calibration program
• Verify daily maintenance and 5S standards
• Communicate work status
• Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies
• Maintain acceptable attendance
• Any specifically assigned task

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate and convey information to others
• Must be able to use and select tools. gauges, and work aids to perform task
• Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events during the work shift
• Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specifications
• Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift average of 25 lbs including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.
• Must be able to work with oils/coolants
• Must be able to work in noisy environment
• Must be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of time
