Job summary

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry in Manitowoc, WI, is seeking a QA Assistant to join our Quality team and support a range of activities that help ensure our products and processes meet customer and company requirements. This role offers a mix of office work and hands-on production floor experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update quality documents, process sheets, work instructions, and records.
• Assist with dimensional inspections, blueprint interpretation, and measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Support first article inspections, quality data collection, nonconformance records, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Production on process improvements and quality projects.
• Gain hands-on exposure to foundry processes, customer requirements, quality systems, and continuous improvement activities.
