Job summary

Neenah Foundry Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to inspect processed iron castings for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications. The role includes data entry into the computer and payroll systems, with potential cross training in other QA areas.

The successful candidate will multitask, use basic computer functions, and maintain high attention to detail. Shifts include 1st and 2nd with a base pay of $25.93/hour and a $1.50/hour premium for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to tolerate a warm, loud and physically challenging environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Description

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for inspecting processed iron castings for defects and quality issues. The Quality Assurance Auditor will be inspecting castings for several metal finishers in a fast paced environment to ensure all castings meet customer specifications. The role is then responsible for accurately entering data into the computer and payroll system. The position does offer the opportunity for cross training in other Quality Assurance areas such as Quality Assurance Returns, Quality Assurance Outside, and Quality Assurance Testing. The successful applicant should possess the ability to multi-task, perform basic computer functions and must demonstrate a high attention to detail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Practice high level of safety at all times

• Inspect processed parts
• Use of various measuring devices, i.e. tape measure, gauges, feeler gauges, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints
• Maintain clean and organized work stations

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply

Shifts:

• Must be available to work 8+ hour shifts including Saturdays
• Monday – Friday (Saturday as scheduled)
• Typical shift hours:
  • 1 st shift: 5:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • 2 nd shift: 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • Hours are subject to change

Pay rate:

• Base pay rate of $25.93, 2 nd shift premium: $1.50
• Base rates increase $1/hour upon successful completion of probation (60 working days)
