Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician Supervisor to lead a team, coordinate order processing, and resolve service issues with customers and warehouse sites. This role involves collaboration with Inventory Control, Transportation and the warehouses to improve service performance.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in logistics, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 75% as required by the role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows; create complex formulas in Excel.
• Associate degree in Transportation or Business is preferred.
• 2 years in customer service, distribution or logistics in manufacturing.
• 2 years in transportation and operations.
• Willingness to work extended hours including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and achieve proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; present organized data clearly.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities; adapt to new structures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites; advise on service failures and coordinate resolutions.
• Audit daily order processes; ensure all orders reach each site.
• Monitor and report all errors for performance tracking.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control, Transportation, and warehouse sites on service resolutions.
• Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement.
• Communicate order changes with warehouses and coordinate shipment schedules.
• Maintain ISO documents and train department staff to standards.
