Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking candidates for General Manufacturing/Production 1st Shift positions in Belmont, MS. This role supports fast-paced production, moving materials, and operating basic equipment to meet daily goals.

Selected candidates will lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long shifts, and participate in a Monday-Thursday schedule from 6:00am to 4:00pm. Starting pay is $17.55/hour with competitive benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds (team lift).
• Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum of 8 hours or more per shift.
• Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance—must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production goals in a fast-paced team environment.
• Move materials/components between floor, pallets, conveyors and/or tables.
• Operate equipment such as sewing machines, hot glue guns, pallet jacks.
• Sort/verify/supply production materials to stations to meet schedule.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals.
• Label and pack finished goods.
• Maintain a clean area/environment.
• Perform quality inspections at each step to ensure standards.
