Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a Team Lead for our client in Iowa City, IA. This first-shift role runs 6:30am to 3:15pm with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

You will support daily production operations, mentor team members, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met on your shift. Responsibilities include leading production staff, following procedures, preparing reports, and coordinating with supervisors and maintenance to keep lines running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience required.
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees on assigned shift.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Monitor production lines to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Train and assist new employees with work instructions and processes.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to maintain efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and “escalate” concerns when necessary.
• Complete production reports and documentation accurately.
• Communicate shift updates, performance expectations, and operational changes.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
• Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other departments to achieve production goals.
