Job summary

The Jel Sert Company is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor for the Freezerbar Department. The role oversees safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced production area, leading a team and ensuring adherence to SOPs and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include line safety inspections, quality audits, inventory control, and staff training. Overtime, including Saturdays, is required as scheduled to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory/lead experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
• College degree preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Safety (line inspections, department safety audits, safety meetings).
• Quality (high-quality production, quality audits, clean environment) HACCP, Verification of CCPs.
• Lot control, inventory accuracy, and reporting.
• Develop and operate within SOPs.
• Cost/Production efficiency, maintenance, and strategic planning for the continuation of production.
• Sanitation and housekeeping.
• Employee relations issues.
