Job summary

AROW Global Corp. in Mosinee, WI is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to mentor the production team and ensure adherence to safety standards and quality processes.

You will lead scheduled production activities, coach employees, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with team leads to optimize resources while maintaining a positive work environment. Comprehensive benefits follow 30 days after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Experience with ERP software; knowledge of IFS is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to operate forklift or obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Team Leads to direct production activities per the schedule and priorities.
• Perform regular audits of products to verify quality integrity.
• Provide leadership to maintain standards of work.
• Develop and maintain a skills matrix and training plans for employees.
• Encourage idea generation regarding changes to production methods, processes, or equipment.
• Assist team members in interpreting procedures and correct use of equipment.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and career development planning.

Summary

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for mentoring the production team to ensure that employees are following established procedures to produce quality products in an environment that is focused on safety. The Production Supervisor actively works to promote a positive work environment that encourages and values employee input.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Collaborate with Team Leads to direct production activities in accordance with the production schedule and established priorities while maximizing the utilization of assigned resources, machines, personnel, and materials.
• Perform regular audits of products to verify quality integrity.
• Provide leadership to maintain standards of work.
• Work with Team Leads to assess employee talent and developmental needs. Develop and maintain a skills matrix and training plans for employees.
• Encourage team members to actively participate in idea generation regarding changes to production methods, processes, or equipment.
• Assist team members in the interpretation of procedures, methods, and correct use of production equipment to ensure compliance.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and establish career development plans.
• Address complaints and resolve issues in accordance with company policies.
• Enforce a culture that prioritizes safety by operating as a safety advocate for the department.
• As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; technical degree desired.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a production work environment.
• Knowledge, experience, and understanding of manufacturing safety, processes, flow, schedules, delivery, etc., desired.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; knowledge of IFS is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset to contribute to excellence in manufacturing.
• Ability to drive a forklift or complete training to obtain forklift license.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Understanding of production schedules and demand and delivery.
• Two (2) weeks of vacation, on an accrual system
