AMTEC CORPORATION in Wisconsin is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor. This hands-on role directs and supervises production employees to meet delivery deadlines and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising the floor, conducting employee reviews, prioritizing workflow, enforcing health and safety and company standards, and scheduling daily tasks while ensuring a clean, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to problem solve and maintain equipment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Associates Degree and/or 2 years comparable experience is required.
• MUST have a BATFE approved Employee Possessor License.

AMTEC has an opening for a 1st Shift Production Supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY

Duties of the production supervisor includes directing and supervising employees for production operations to meet delivery deadlines. This is a hands on position with responsibility for scrap and efficiency rates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise employees on the production floor
2. Conduct annual reviews for employees performance
3. Monitor and prioritize work flow of production to meet deadlines
4. Monitor all health and safety standards, customer requirements and company standards are being met
5. Provide direction and schedule to production employees each day.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

POSITION TYPE

This is a Salary non-exempt full-time position.

TRAVEL

Travel (less than 10% of work time).

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
