Hana Technologies Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in Solon, Ohio. You will supervise 20–30 technicians and operators, schedule daily/weekly work, and manage overtime planning to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of supervision experience in manufacturing.

  • Supervise 20–30 employees.
  • Schedule daily and weekly production assignments.
  • Develop and communicate weekend overtime schedules.
  • Maintain attendance and timekeeping for hourly operators.
  • Identify training needs for operators and technicians.
  • Ensure completion of documentation and training signoffs (PMS, TCN, WIs, Alerts, checks).
  • Provide feedback on safety, quality, productivity, scrap and housekeeping.
  • Maintain integrity of material transactions and support other departments as needed.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Daily KPI reporting.
  • Participate in shift changeover meetings and interview processes.

Provide daily production support to production operations. Supervise Techs/Operators to assure that the Safety, Quality, Productivity and Housekeeping is accomplished in support of the customer.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required, four-year degree preferred.
  • Three to Five Years of Supervision experience in Manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Understanding of the manufacturing process, rework department, and final packaging operations.
  • Supervise 20 to 30 employees.
  • Daily/Weekly scheduling of production assignments.
  • Develop and Communicate weekend Overtime schedule.
  • Communication and Maintenance of hourly operator Time and Attendance.
  • Initiation and oversight of training needs for Operators and Technicians.
  • Assure timely completion of documentation and training sign offs. Including PMS, TCN, Work Instructions, Alerts, 2nd verification checks, and shift changeover checklist.
  • Provide immediate feedback to associates/techs for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Scrap, Clean Room PPE, and housekeeping needs.
  • Maintain integrity of product and material transactions.
  • Proactively elevate needs for support from other departments.
  • Actively seek to maximize personnel and equipment utilization.
  • Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures that all shifts are staffed with personnel in charge of, or delated responsibility for, ensuring conformity to customer & product requirements.
  • Timely reporting of raw and indirect material needs.
  • Participate in daily shift changeover group meetings.
  • Reporting of daily KPI’s. Proactively identifying opportunities/countermeasures.
  • Lead daily morning accountability meetings.
  • Support interview process for new applicants.
  • Support plant Safety Committee.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office products and basic understanding of spreadsheets
  • Ability to lead people with respect, collaboration, and integrity
  • Ability to understand and uphold Safety, ESD, Clean room gowning, and ISO protocols
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Superior organization and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to utilize small tools and measurement devices
Physical Abilities (ex: standing, pulling, include duration):
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
