Job summary

Trinidad Benham Corporation in LaGrange, GA is seeking a 1st shift Production Relief, Level 3. You will set up and operate packaging equipment to meet quality specifications, maintain systems, and troubleshoot common machine issues.

The role requires standing most of the shift and lifting up to 35 lbs. Responsibilities include operating cartoner, pan press, and other line equipment to standard, performing hourly quality checks, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for long periods (up to ten hours).

Responsibilities

• Operate carton er/packaging equipment to meet production standards.
• Run pan press, Food Service Edger/box maker/stacker to standard.
• Operate Interfold and label machine as needed for projects.
• Perform hourly quality checks and record results on the inspection report.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and communicate complex problems to maintenance.
• Maintain GMP standards by keeping line clean and organized.
• Lubricate machinery as needed and assist with other duties.

Description

Set up and/or operate equipment in order to produce product that meets quality and production specifications quality specifications, maintain the machine systems, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot common machine/quality problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cartoner at or above production standard.
• Operate pan press at or above production standard.
• Operate Food Service Edger/box maker/stacker above production standard.
• Operate Interfold at or above production standard.
• Perform Quality Check at least once each hour.
• Record the results of each hourly quality check on the Daily Quality Inspection Report
• Monitor process, correct jams and other problems that occur.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of line to GMP standards by removing cartons and other trash, removing dust and debris, etc.
• Troubleshoot minor quality and machine problems; communicate more complex problems to maintenance.
• Identify and complete form necessary to provide info on substandard material.
• Lubricate machinery as needed.
• Any other duties as requested or required.
• Operate label machine as needed for special projects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Ability to lift 35 lbs. Ability to stand ten hours (twelve during busy season) and walk up and down steps. Able to remove and replace mandrels.
