Job summary

JBS USA is hiring Hourly Production Workers in Vermont. The role focuses on safe, efficient production of meat products on a fast-paced line, with training in food safety and GMP. Shift: 1st shift, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Monday through Thursday, with possible overtime on Fridays. Pay is up to $23.35 per hour, paid weekly, and candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in cold environments. We value reliability, safety, and teamwork; EOE/Vets/Disability.

Qualifications

• Work in temperatures near or below freezing (coolers, loading docks)
• Lift, pull, or push 50 lbs.
• Work with sharp knives or cutting tools
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays occasionally
• Able to work day shift
• Must maintain good attendance and safety records

Responsibilities

• Use knives, steel, and hook to perform tasks
• Keep knives sharp and request assistance if needed
• Operate heavy equipment
• Bag and box products
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Work hands-on at high speed and lift 50+ pounds
• Maintain clean work areas and follow food safety protocols
• Inspect meat or meat products and packaging
• Stay aware of surroundings and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned
