Job summary

Perrigo in Bronx, New York is seeking a Line Operator for the 1st shift. This union position offers a starting pay of $17.00 per hour with hours 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Fluency in English is required; a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required to communicate effectively on the line and in documentation.
• High School Diploma or GED is required for this role.
• Due to the regulated pharmaceutical environment, background checks may be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Check schedule for assigned shop orders and ensure proper cleanliness of equipment.
• Log inventory and notify QA for line release and IC entries.
• Verify components against packaging cards and ensure FIFO setup.
• Record production units and damages, and keep IPC forms up to date.
• Maintain clean work area, protect documents, and replenish line supplies as needed.
