Job summary

Perrigo in Bronx, NY is seeking a 1st Shift Set Up Technician to lead and sustain a production line by performing equipment change-overs and line duties in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs. You will set up and adjust filling and packaging equipment, monitor throughput, assist line personnel, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues.

A high school diploma and the ability to read and write English are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalency.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and sustain a Line by performing equipment change-overs and line duties.
• Set up and adjust filling/packaging equipment.
• Monitor throughput and ensure optimal production.
• Provide guidance to line personnel on equipment operation.
• Coordinate routine maintenance with maintenance personnel.
• Document activities in logs and forms.
• Notify supervisors when equipment is ready.
