Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Line Lead to supervise daily production lines, coordinate workforce and workflow to keep production safe, efficient, and on schedule. You will play a hands-on role in leading and supporting team members on the floor to drive performance and production results.

This promotional opportunity has a base rate of $20.00 per hour, with pay premiums, shift differentials, overtime where applicable, and an annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.
• Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management.
• Ensure product quality per QA and USDA specifications.
• Ensure all equipment runs smoothly throughout departments.
• Lead and train line team members.
• Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality.
• Report incidents and maintain safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Control labor and material costs.
