Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise 30-80 hourly team members, manage staffing, throughput, yield, quality, and shift performance, and drive productivity improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading a large hourly workforce preferred.
Working knowledge of packaging operations and production processes.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production operations, balance labor, monitor line speeds, minimize downtime.
Oversee startups, changeovers, allergen transitions, and shutdowns.
Monitor temperatures, freezer exit temperatures, and weights within specifications.
Maintain separation between raw and RTE areas; escalate out-of-spec products.
Supervise and train 30–80 hourly employees, coaching and cross-training.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality, sanitation, and shipping.
