Job summary

El Camino Health is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Stafford, CT. You will work in a high-production environment, performing both scheduled and emergency repairs on various equipment including mechanical and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has technical skills, a solid understanding of machinery, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with basic hand tools and a willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, and welding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform unscheduled and scheduled repairs on production equipment.
• Complete maintenance requests or PM documentation for work performed.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

Technical aptitude and ability to use basic hand power tools
