Job summary

M1 Search Group in Fredericktown, MO is seeking an Equipment Technician on 2nd shift to support production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure safe and efficient operation.

You will work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to diagnose problems, set up equipment, and document maintenance activities while maintaining a clean, safety-conscious work area.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience maintaining or troubleshooting manufacturing or production equipment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, schematics, or technical documentation is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and machinery.

  • Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues as required.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and production efficiency.
