Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Byron Center, MI is seeking a 1st shift Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will report at shift start, operate basic equipment, inspect and package parts, and maintain a clean work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), basic math skills, and ability to use measuring tools. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and training on safety procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken, preferred.
• Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assemble and/or labels materials per specific production instructions.
• Operates side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breaks/Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
