Job summary

Freedom is seeking a Press Supervisor for our Milton, Wisconsin production facility on 1st shift. The role involves supervising a team of press operators, operators, helpers, and mail sorters, plus performing key administrative tasks to support the department.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, and familiarity with Windows. Prior lithographic press operator experience, including inkjet printing and inline finishing, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a Windows based environment.
• Prior experience as a lithographic press operator including inkjet printing, inline finishing, or rotary cutters is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and coaching of Press staff, complete annual performance reviews.
• Review and approve timecards and attendance, manage temporary workers.
• Adjust press assignments during shifts and communicate rosters to HR.
• Monitor production floor, ensure jobs run smoothly, assist as needed.
• Maintain communication with other departments (Customer Service, Warehouse, Lettershop).
• Perform administrative tasks: daily press assignments, time sheets, inventory, and stock replenishment.
• Review production schedules and approve samples when production begins.
• Serve as backup when the Press Plant Manager is absent.
