Job summary

Lozier Corporation is a leading manufacturer providing shelving and storage systems for retailers and warehouses. This role focuses on setting up punch, brake, and automatic presses to achieve high productivity while maintaining safety on the 1st shift in Middlebury, IN.

You will perform basic laser/CNC programming, read blueprints, and use measuring tools. The position includes continuous improvement involvement and a competitive benefits package as part of Lozier's team.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up punch, brake, or automatic presses to maximize productivity.
• Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Willingness to participate in continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to print specifications and maximize productivity.
• Provide basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
• Communicate problems pertaining to equipment setup to Machine Operators, Supervisors and Technicians.
• Follow up with Machine Operators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and participate in continuous improvement projects.
