Job summary

Lozier Corporation is hiring for a 1st shift Saw Operator in Middlebury, IN, for a full-time role. You will set up and operate saw-related equipment, print specifications, and help ensure safe, efficient production on the line.

The position requires reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and basic die setup experience. Forklift experience is a plus, with potential for career growth and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up presses and operating related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances.
• Proficiency with basic measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer).
• Die setup experience in brake press, stamping, or related processes.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to meet specifications.
• Provide basic programming input for laser or CNC equipment when needed.
• Communicate issues with equipment/tools to operators and supervisors.
• Monitor operation and ensure safe, efficient production on the first shift.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work area.
