Job summary

Daifuku North America in Indiana (Hobart) is seeking a Brake Press Operator on 1st shift, 5:00am–1:30pm. You will read blueprints, set up press brakes, and inspect parts to spec. Must read measurements and follow job orders, with safety PPE and QMS compliance.

Requires 2+ years related experience, high school diploma, and crane/forklift certification. Saturday availability may be required for some projects; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Crane and forklift certifications are required or preferred as stated

Responsibilities

• Follow Safety policy including PPE
• Set up and operate press brakes and other equipment on parts of various shapes
• Check products against specifications
• Follow job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines/dies
• Comply with Daifuku QMS policies and procedures
• Support sustainable processes and continuous improvement
