Job summary

Daifuku North America in Hobart, IN is seeking a Brake Press Operator for full-time, 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM). The role requires reading blueprints and precise tape measurements and involves operating press brakes, inspecting parts, and maintaining equipment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience, plus crane and forklift certifications. Saturdays may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Following the Safety policy, including PPE.
• Setting up and operating press brakes and other equipment on a variety of parts of all shapes and sizes.
• Checking products against standards for conformance to specifications.
• Following specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
• Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
• Performing minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.
• Adhering to Daifuku QMS policies and procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
